Something that came to me during my sharing in The Man Within Men’s Circle (https://www.marcotesi.com) that I feel to also share here.

When it comes to O V E R T H I N K I N G (which I’ve experienced a lot), I find it most helpful to express my thoughts. They can feel overwhelming and distracting when they are left to run around endlessly in my head.

• If I can speak my thoughts to someone, it can be helpful to have a discussion, receive a different perspective, get some clarity and discover anything that really doesn’t make sense (but felt so real and true in my head)

• If I can’t speak with someone, then I find journaling to be a powerful practice. Writing with pen on paper, and without any judgement of how it “should be”.
Just letting any thoughts flow onto the paper until the process feels complete. And of course being careful not to judge when reading it back afterwards, or try to analyze it too deeply. Just express it on paper, let it be, and move on.

• Also good to simply chill for a few minutes with any meditative / mindful / breathing / relaxation practice or listening to this video
